The Global Talent Stream (GTS) is the fastest LMIA processing pathway in Canada — typically 2 weeks vs. 8-12 weeks for standard LMIAs. It targets unique-talent and in-demand tech occupations.
Two streams
- Category A — for innovative employers referred by a designated GTS partner (provincial agencies, scale-up incubators, etc.)
- Category B — for occupations on the Global Talent Occupations List (software engineers, data scientists, computer engineers, web developers, and others)
